Software for Business Owners, By Business Owners

When we started building The OSYS System™ it wasn't to sell software, it was to run our business better.
We started Envala in 2005, not realizing we were starting a software company. Instead, we were trying to build a tool that would help us better manage our sinkhole remediation business, Geo-Logical. At the time we were just a two-man operation in charge of sales, production, administration and marketing and we needed a tool that would help us get more done faster if we wanted to grow.
We were using a product for tracking sales, MS Word for proposal development and job documentation, MS Outlook and a mass emailer to handle marketing and scheduling, Microsoft Project to schedule jobs, QuickBooks for invoicing and MS Excel to create reports.
Multiple entry and data loss was a huge problem during this time. We looked for a system that would meet our needs, but nothing seemed to fit or handle everything.
Frustrated, we decided that our sinkhole strategy- "The cheapest way to fix a sinkhole is to do it right the first time," would be our software strategy. So developing a custom solution would be the best long term solution and value. We hired a developer and within months we had the base of what would eventually become The OSYS™ System. This first program, dubbed the “Project Manager” had a remarkable effect - sales more than doubled while our administrative costs were reduced.
The thing about efficiency, is that people notice it. Engineers and other businesses we worked with started noticing how quickly we were able to build proposals, complete invoicing, track project status, and deliver updates to them; naturally they wanted to know how. We decided to see if others would want to use it and then sought advice from a software entreprenuer who quickly got us started expanding our system.
The reason Envala's OSYS™ System is so robust and easy to use is that we built it to run a business, not to sell software. Since 2005, we have been expanding the system and now have users across North America, the Caribbean and Europe. We look forward to working with you and making Our System, Your Success™.
